CONFIRMATION ENROLMENT 2024
In the coming year, we will be preparing children for the Sacrament of Confirmation. We invite you along with your child to decide if you would like to be part of this programme of preparation for this Sacrament. When you brought your child for Baptism you initiated the process of forming your child as a follower of Jesus. As we continue this journey, it will be an important time for all involved as we grow together in faith and love.
If you would like to enrol your child for the Sacrament of Confirmation, please complete the application form below and upload a copy of your child’s Baptismal Cert.
Sacrament of Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation unites us more closely with Christ and gives us the strength of the Holy Spirit –
to share our faith,
- to live our faith by word and action
- to be true witnesses of Christ.
The choice to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should be made freely, willingly and with the intention to live a life of faith as part of the practicing parish faith community.
PREPARING FOR CONFIRMATION:
Direction will be provided to parents regarding preparation through an initial letter which will issue in September to the Sacrament Classes of the schools inviting Parents/Guardians to register their child for Confirmation.
Following registration, materials will be provided via WhatsApp to Parents/Guardians to further assist alongside the school’s preparation through the Grow in Love programme.
