Sacrament of Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation unites us more closely with Christ and gives us the strength of the Holy Spirit –
to share our faith,
- to live our faith by word and action
- to be true witnesses of Christ.
The choice to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should be made freely, willingly and with the intention to live a life of faith as part of the practicing parish faith community.
In usual times, parents of candidates presenting for the sacrament of Confirmation would be issued with dates before Christmas, if not earlier. However, for COVID related reasons, it is not possible to provide dates for this year, at this stage. As soon as it is possible to do so, direct contact will be made with both parents and schools through the contacts that will be available to us when the registration process is complete.
PREPARING FOR CONFIRMATION:
Direction will be provided to parents regarding preparation through letters that have or will issue.
Materials will be provided on this website to further assist alongside the school’s preparation through the Grow in Love programme.
