Welcome

Welcome to the parish website of St Philomena’s Parish on the Old Lucan Road, Palmerstown. It is on the West of Dublin adjacent to the N4. Palmerstown is bordered to the north by the river Liffey, to the west Lucan, to the south Ballyfermot and to the east Chapelizod. It is in the Maynooth deanery. Our parish was established in 1972 having been formerly part of Chapelizod parish.

We hope to provide some useful information about life in our parish, the different groups and activities, and our faith formation programmes which enhance our Christian community.
